WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - Classic Amphicars — vehicles that drive on land and “swim” in water — gathered at Put-in-Bay, Ohio for a club meetup. Built in Germany between 1961 and 1968, the rare cars require both their land and water drive systems working in sync, making a fully functional model a genuine feat. Owners say the amphibious cars steal the show at any car event, drawing bigger crowds than Lamborghinis or Mustangs.
